Hydronic In-Slab Water Fed Heating

RCH Hydronic Water (Gas : Heat Pumps : Diesel : Electric) Radiant floor (or ‘Hydronic’) heating is a method of heating the home by embedding special tubing in the concrete foundation (or in a thin slab of concrete on top of a wood-framed floor). Heated water then circulates through this tubing, which in turn warms the mass of concrete and conducts heat through the floor. This radiant heating system is best suited for large dwellings over 150m2 and where constant warmth is required throughout a building on a constant basis.

Advantages & Applications:

This form of heating is highly recommended, especially if you have hard flooring on a concrete substrate. It is affordable, efficient and provides ambient warmth, along with luxurious touch underfoot.
