Vent-Master PIV systems (Positive Input Ventilation) uses air displacement from the ceilings space cavity to ventilate dwellings, thereby improving indoor air quality and inhibiting condensation.
PIV sit in the ceiling space capturing latent heat from the sun, which is pushed downward into the house, then forcing colder internal air away from surfaces and out of the home. This reduces condensation, removes mold and provides filtered clean air exchange into the home.
What PIV suppliers typically don't tell you, is that you require natural ventilation (partly open widows etc) to allow the colder air to escape and your paid heating along with it.
